Info: hiii fellow restless, i'm lüna! i'm 1/2 of nightfell and the person to blame for all the terrible puns and cheesy stuff. i'm also terrible at introducing myself and i'd blame adhd but i feel like it's something a bunch of people share regardless adfsj. i love cats, heart-wrenching feels, video games (dragon age, final fantasy, tes & witcher being my faves), dnd, WRITING, reading, horror and occult stuff, s p a c e, music... my schedule is often all over the place but writing is one of my self-care habits and i always try to keep spoons to rp. Soulmate(s): he won't personally be looking for one because what is asking for help (and also personal space is sacred) BUT. i'm not opposed to him having a few soulmates if his CR reaches that point. getting close to him is a pain in the butt but he's a knight in shining robes (of sorts); i could see him maybe soulbonding with someone younger who might remind him of his son or his disciples, or someone he'd absolutely want to protect. it's going to take a LOT for that to happen but i'm game!
Shadow: honestly, between lan wangji and his shadow, i'm not entirely sure who's going to struggle the most. his mind is surrounded by a fortress grown from years of meditation and strict discipline, but his heart is fragile. he'll probably be more reckless at times, indulge in pleasures he shouldn't, act on impulse, give in to anger and/or jealousy...
Plotting: lan wangji is the embodiment of a resting bitch face and will most likely appear as pretty boring ngl. why do i play such a character?? his many intricate layers piqued my curiosity. there's an extremely passionate individual behind that stoic face of his! if you don't know him, chances are that he'll come off as cold and/or haughty, but he's super kind, promise!! he just doesn't particularly excel at people-ing and doesn't say much more than what's strictly necessary (sometimes nothing at all) but LISTEN. befriend him ok. this boy desperately needs to branch out. i'm also here for negative CR, sparring partners, fellow musicians, hunting down monsters!!! bunny lovers and fans of meditation. and please, get him drunk. he can't hold his alcohol. AT ALL.

Info: shiro's 33% astronaut, 33% soldier, 33% snuggleable, 1% idiot and 100% gay. trained at galaxy garrison (which is NASA but militarized for… some reason). he was abducted by purple aliens, tortured, fitted with a cybernetic arm (which he doesn't have anymore) and made to fight in a gladiator ring for sport. after a year of that fun time, he wound up as the black paladin of voltron (he piloted a giant cat robot!!) and led a resistance against the galra empire ( the aliens who abducted him ). he has some massive trauma and hang-ups (he died on top of everything else, was cloned, and his conscience was then transferred into one of said clones... it's messed up), but for the most part, he’s still a pretty chill dude.
Soulmate(s): shiro is unfortunately deeply scarred and suffers from PTSD, and while he'll definitely strive to help others, giving anyone partial access to his head isn't going to be an easy thing. aside from his bff (and even then!) i'm not sure when he'll ever be ready to share so much of himself with someone else, being as vulnerable as he is.
Shadow: i'm not entirely sure how i want to play his shadow yet, but it'll most definitely be self-deprecating, might burst into fits of anger at times, and will attempt to confuse the hell out of him.
Plotting: any type of CR, space nerds super welcome! shiro will want to explore for sure, offer a hand whenever possible, kill vile creatures. and he needs to heal. learning how to trust himself AND others again, as well as attempting self-care, is going to be a super bumpy road. pls be his gentle friend ;;

Info: Noctis is a giant nerd, whose occasional stupidity is only outstripped by his capacity to mean well and want to help others. He's a lethargic, socially awkward, out of touch gamer who also just so happens to be the crown prince of a nation at war. Currently he's coping with the very recent loss of his father and the far-reaching implications of what that means for his future, and his number one tactic for this is aggressive repression.
Soulmate(s): Will he be searching actively? No. Is it something in the back of his mind that he knows he needs and that I as his player absolutely want? For sure. As he calms down and gets acclimated and realizes the danger his shadow truly is, this will become more and more paramount in his mind.
Shadow: His shadow is absolutely going to capitalize on his insecurities, primarily his unwillingness to rule, his fear of the future, and his desire for a normal average life. This will manifest in him occasionally lashing out and taking his anger out in all the wrong ways. I don't have any full arcs planned yet for his shadow, but I'm noodling over ideas! There's a ton of material here to work with. He'll certainly be experiencing a huge amount of guilt over how much he'll enjoy the simple things in Nightfell, like getting a job and being ignored. Rip.
Plotting: I feel I'm gonna' be echoing a lot of people, but right now I'm genuinely open to just about anything. Noctis needs friends who can show him how to actually live without royal attendants and how to be a normal young man, but he also needs gamer buddies and person one or two people who'd go fishing with him. At the same time I'm a huge sucker for negative cr and am so down for anyone who wants an annoying rival to bug them. Noctis is one of those damn youngsters always on his phone, so anticipate text harassment in your IC inbox (I'm sorry in advance). Also always looking for a good sparring buddy!!

Info: A snake-man who was raised by a theatre troupe that did a lot of assassinations on the side. He ran away from them when he became an adult and is now trying to stay away from them for good. Except he's still deeply affected by them by being scared forever, trying desperately to seem like a normal person, but also still enjoys how killing people feels...... He's fine, just a little secretly unhinged. Totally normal behavior. Other basic stuff here.
Soulmate(s): He's currently resistant to the idea but I'll be finding ways of making him warm up to it-- and by "ways" I mean "trauma". He should be ready for it by next month, and I'm down for a handful of Soulmates! However, Shalem has a shitstorm of emotions in him, primarily fear, a shitton of sadness, and is secretly unhinged so your characters may... have to deal with dark, morbid things coming from his brain when they're bonded.
Shadow: It's going to try and make him kill his own CR [insert ugly laughter]. It will also try and make him get on the stage and put on plays... and then kill his co-performers. He's scared of himself because he can easily do all those things if he was just given a little push, and the Shadow will do its best to give that push.
Plotting: Currently? I want all of the CR. We're new! I want a lot of things! But also I'd like to start paving the way for Shalem to start thinking aboout Soulmates and figure out which of his CR is the safest person to hold his secrets, etc etc.

Info: jonas is a regular ol' teenaged boy. he has a shitty sense of humour, and tends to err on the side of rude when first acquainting himself with others. his self-image is that of a "bad egg"; he's had unfortunate run-ins with the law, only recently completing a stint in a juvenile detention centre for hospitalizing a schoolmate. that's all surface-level; jonas is a good kid albeit with a chip on his shoulder and is loyal to a fault to his family and close few friends. unfortunate, he's been through a very serious haunting and has been recently been possessed numerous times by world war ii ghosts (you know how it is). his outlook on life isn't positive, which tends to make him a critical person.
Soulmate(s): he won't actively be looking for soulmates because he's a stick in the mud, but once his shadow starts heckling the shit out of him, he'll be way more open to the idea. it'll have to be close cr, so your character would have to be open to committing to the relationship and taking responsibility.
Shadow: jonas' shadow will pretty well reinforce his usual self-deprecating thoughts about himself. it'll be trying to get him to fall back on all of the bad, exciting things that got him in trouble back home: stealing, smoking, drinking, and being a generally bad influence. his confidence is already very low, so as his time progresses in nightfell, he'll feel a significant downgrade in that, too. it tends to speak to him as subtly as it can, winding itself into already present negative thoughts; however, it'll manifest more as a mocking, jeering presence the stronger it gets. he'll definitely be wondering how the hell it can speak in full sentences without tripping over its words while he cannot—fuck you, cool shadow scum.

Info A foster home kid who miraculously landed himself a spot at Galaxy Garrison, Keith was this close to becoming the equivalent of a battle astronaut. But then his mentor/bff “died” and he got booted from the program ( apparently punching a senior officer will do that?? ). Spent a year living in the desert by himself, then found the Blue Lion with his not-dead mentor/bff, plus some other cadets. So, their universe is being taken over by a 10,000 year strong Empire of the Galran race and apparently, someone needs to stop them?? This is how he wound up as the Red Paladin of Voltron ( think Power Rangers but in space ), then the Black Paladin when his mentor/bff died for real. Peaced out to go be a space assassin ( Blade of Marmora, close enough ) while his mentor/bff’s clone took over Voltron. Found his mom, who is actually Galra. Got stuck in the Quantum Abyss and aged two years in that warped space-time, while the rest of the universe advanced only a few months. Battled his mentor/bff’s clone and fell to his death with him… right?? Now he’s here! Been a wild ride! If anyone knows the canon, he’s taken from s6e5.
Soulmate(s): Keith is one of those prickly, don’t-stand-too-close-to-me types. So I can’t say he’s going to be actively looking to enlist people to have such intimate access to him. He can handle himself, okay?? Perhaps that will change with cr!
Shadow: No hard plans on this yet, but Keith isn't the kindest to himself on his best day anyway. He used to be far more prone to self-sabotage, so it's likely he'll fall back into that with the Shadow's influence. Meaning, he might be more quick to anger. Time to brush off that Disciplinary Issue title of his; hopefully he doesn't start up his habit for punching people again.
Plotting: I always want to put everything and anything, even though it’s a cop out LOL.
Positive CR, negative CR ( though, not simply for the sake of it ). While he is often ready to help those that need it, he tends to be more standoffish when it comes to developing anything deeper than a shallow connection ( how do you friend?? ).
He’s going to do a lot of exploring ( and likely fighting with critters ). Talk to him about space or flight crafts or anything that goes fast, really. He’s a survivalist ( 1 year in the desert + 2 years in a space wilderness ), so fellow survivalists hi?? He needs sparring buddies ( tho fair warning, I don’t like writing out simple sparring; this would be handwaved cr development ).

Soulmate(s): asa DOUBTS this concept to the highest degree and will reject it to no end (especially because of yoru, at the moment) but oh hell yes would she want one deep down. she knows she hates it because she thinks she’ll never have it anyway, so it could be a good chance to prove her wrong!
Shadow: yoru x2 pretty much lol. it will most likely wish to sabotage her and bring her back to the ways she used to think before getting hijacked, such as urging her to be distant and cold and jealous and just not change for the better because what’s the point? it’s not possible anyway!
Plotting: okay so since we’re fresh here I’d just like to focus a ton on cr first, and I welcome both positive (which will be great for asa— she hasn’t had a real friend prior) and negative (considering asa has a not so friendly passenger!). in the future, I’d love to look into soulmates. come bond with a possessed girl!!

Info: Augustine is a world-weary dhampir with a strong passion for both the arts and gardening. He's a bit of a recluse, someone who lives a solitary life and tends to avoid other people. It's because of his reclusive nature that Augustine has difficulties relating with others. He's a bit apprehensive of people, especially because of his unusual heritage. Poor Augustine has been hunted before, so he's quite slow to trust. However, this doesn't stop him from assisting those in need. If someone looks like they're in jeopardy, he'll try to assist in any fashion possible. He's a bit of an oddball, to say the least.
Outside of his love for gardening, Augustine is a competent sorcerer hailing from the Umbran Collective, a circle of mages hailing from all corners of Volteria, with an affinity for Hemokinesis (Blood Sorcery), Demon Summoning, and Shadow Magic.
Augustine is one of the few vampires in his world to view mortals as equals in a society that views them as just food. While Augustine's love for humanity is well documented, he doesn't do well stomaching some of their ridiculous antics. That's why he tends to keep his distance from mortals in general. Soulmate(s): Augustine won't be actively searching for his alleged soulmate but he would be interested in meeting them. He's a little afraid of the thought of being so closely tied to another, especially since he lacks experience with that kind of intimacy. However, he'll most likely start actively searching for them once his *Shadow* makes their presence known.
Shadow: Augustine's shadow is nearly the complete opposite of him. Hedonistic, insatiable, and violent. In truth, the inspiration of his shadowy form will most likely seem quite demonic unlike the very quiet and mild-mannered Augustine but it will still be quite recognizable as him. His shadow side will undoubtedly try to gorge itself upon the flesh of others. That's something Augustine would never do willingly, especially since the dhampir rarely drinks blood.
Plotting: While I have nothing concrete just yet, I would love for Augustine to make a few acquaintances or at least befriend a few people he can trust. It's difficult to get him to open up to others, so I'm really looking for characters who are in it for the long haul here. Augustine wouldn't ever define himself as timid but he somewhat is. For all of his faults, I feel like Augustine would make a decent brotherly or even fatherly figure for some. I wouldn't mind exploring some other themes as well but currently, I have nothing concrete just yet. I'm open for both Positive & Negative CR accordingly! My activity is pretty sporadic, I tag when I'm able to (lately within 1-3 days, can be faster or slower just depending on the thread or RL, I do suffer chronic pain on top of a 9-5 job so that slows me down at times - very backtag friendly!). My passion is writing, I do write fic on the side but am otherwise really into literature, sci-fi/fantasy, video games (Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Genshin Impact, indie horror games), electronic/synthwave music, one specific DND podcast called Dungeons & Daddies, horror movies, cats, and tea.

Info: I'm sure we all probably know this cringe lord, but if for some reason you've been unplugged from famous 2000s era shounen manga, Sasuke is a ninja who suffers GENETIC TRAUMA or something and decides to destroy the world as a result. But gay friendship saves him, and at his current canon point he is looking to atone for all of the shitty things he did.
Soulmate(s): He will wait until the last possible moment because the concept of having one is terrifying, don't perceive him. I have Naruto planned, and while OOCly I'm not against other connections, Sasuke is definitely Hard Mode and will need work to get there with anyone else. Bring it on!
Shadow: Badly! Violently! I am looking for an excuse to play with Sasuke's villain era self, because I find him hilarious and fun and lbr kind of hot when he's absolutely unhinged, but also I think it reflects his growth to target this "past" self that brings a lot of shame with it. This also challenges his goal of atonement, thus promising juicy character development.
Plotting: I don't have any specific goals for CR, but I expect that most of what he'll pick up with others will be pretty complex and deep. He's not an easy person to get to know; he can be reticent, reserved, and frankly a bit cold/mean. That aside, he's also capable of kindness and loyalty and it would be wonderful to create a sort of "found family" among his CR. I WILL SAY, I love negative CR, so I'm always open to that too.

Info: On the other spectrum of being a fairly recognizable character, Cain is from that one super gay space comic where everyone has a lot of sex and the plot is an afterthought. However, I like to play Cain a bit more than his "surface level" self, where he's instead a normie who just wants to see his home again. Cain's real name is Alexei, and he's from a Mars colony, where he was forcefully conscripted into a science experiment aka a mission of ~seduction~ that went pretty well tbh. Also, he likes to punch things.
Soulmate(s): Yes! He will need them, at some point. It'll just be a matter of building CR enough to get there. I don't think he'll actively be on the hunt, as he's still a bit burned from what was essentially a messy breakup, but OOCly I want to go there.
Shadow: I am not 100% sure on this yet, but my thought is he'll be a lot like the nightmare experienced through Abel's POV in the early chapters of the comic - that is, crude, selfish, violent, and basically only out for himself. Willing to stab you in the back for his own purposes, etc. Why do I play so many characters like this idk.
Plotting: I'd love all CR, friends and enemies and found family. I'm open to spicy/intimate CR as well, because Cain is pretty DTF, but it's not my main goal in playing him. I won't say no if the CR goes there! Mainly looking for chemistry first before any sort of relationship happens.

So, expect someone who is extroverted, loud, obnoxious, unfalteringly loyal, deeply empathic, exceptionally stubborn, embarrassingly dense, and stupidly overpowered. Basic starting synopsis: As a baby, a powerful monster was sealed away inside him. Because of this, he was ostracized by his village growing up (without ever knowing why). Naruto initially resorts to bad behavior in order to force people to give him attention. Eventually however, he starts to forge friendships with others…including his castmates Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, and Nara Shikamaru! Given his background of isolation, bonds are everything to Naruto.
Soulmate(s): Never say never! Naruto has some issues about being emotionally vulnerable with other people (blame the toxic warrior culture he comes from), but if the CR is organic and makes sense for it, he might be coaxed into it!
Shadow: His Shadow is going to reopen old wounds that Naruto canonically addressed before—wounds concerning the awful abuse and neglect he suffered as a child, for starters. It’ll stoke the fires of rage and resentment in him; make him doubt the sincerity of his bonds; and seek to undermine the self-confidence Naruto has built up over the years. Because Naruto is, at his current canon point, very settled in his personal development, I’m really looking to lean heavily on his Shadow to shake things up.
Plotting: Right now, Naruto is unfortunately accustomed to everything going his way magically because he’s shōnen Jesus. Bad guys tend to convert to his religion after a good slap down and Naruto seems to always win the day. BOO, BORING. I’d love excuses to teach Naruto things won’t be so easy or straightforward in Nightfell. This boy needs to learn how to fail (which might take MANY lessons, given how outrageously stubborn he can be). I’d love negative CR—whether it’s just harmless head butting and competitive rivalry, or a matter of opposite philosophies clashing. (I’ve found that the most interesting and complex CR usually starts out negative, so I’m a huge fan of it.) That aside, Naruto can always use friends! But seriously, I’m good for any kind of CR. Info: aspen is a 5ft tall, ethereal-looking humanoid with huge white wings and the voice of a princely angel. but don't let that fool you, because he's definitely not holy. he's spent the last year looking after his people and seeing their broken and battered hearts and psyches and it's torn him apart; as a result, he's been nursing a grudge against humankind for a little while now. aspen has spent the bulk of his life training and studying as a courtesan, both for the general public and for nobility - and on top of that, he's a fairly powerful mage. his ideals are gentle, wishing for the best and trying to leave the world better - but especially if you're unkind, he's not going to hold back. he's pretty manipulative and he's a big supporter of tough love, so he may not be the friend you want, but he may be the one you need.
Soulmate(s): this will be an uphill battle for any human characters, but non-human characters may find this easier. he's very guarded though, especially when it comes to his own mind, even though he will divulge things about his life to help others. if it helps someone else out, he'll probably be alright with it, and then pretend like it doesn't bother him after.
Shadow: so aspen has a near-ironclad set of morals that he wants to uphold? well then, what about we get rid of those? :^) aspen's shadow is slothlike and erratic in the same breath, and viciously full of rage and violence. he's far more likely to maim and injure than aspen will, as well as use his magics to poison and subdue in a lot worse ways. if you're at teatime with aspen and suddenly you're paralyzed and he's just staring at you menacingly... safe to say, his shadow has taken over.
Plotting: aspen's intent right now is to help the other restless settle and get them some actually good accommodation and healing. as a result, he's probably going to be looking out for good contacts and like-minded people who are more on the ambitious side. although aspen is a little shit when it comes to humans, i'm not, so i encourage both human and nonhuman CR! i'd also be down for some people he can flirt and tease just for fun, to let off steam. he's been a king for over a year now and he's so tired of acting proper, he wants to let loose. and he'll try to get other people to do the same. :> considering the dour circumstances of their existences right now, he doesn't want to be too serious.

Soulmate(s): hahaha, probably not. every person that he's opened up to and been attached to has betrayed him in some way so he's really not looking to have that happen again. he's very, very distrusting of mortals right now.
Shadow: probably just exacerbate what's already there. morpheus can be aloof and distant, often holding himself above others and the shadow would only make that more so, i'm sure. again, he can be kind of a dick as his regular self but with a shadow's influence? just multiply that and expect him to be a grade ass asshole who's unapologetic about that and probably uses his powers in ways that he shouldn't.
Plotting:
→ morpheus is definitely not the most outgoing person (his sister, death, is better for that) so people who can tolerate someone like him, a tall beanpole who constantly looks like he's tasted something bad.

Honestly, he's quite well-suited to running amok in Nightfell, as several of the game's themes directly reflect the evil deeds he's done in the past and require him to continue paying penance to the fabric of the world itself.
Mojito's Ennead is an 18+ BL webtoon adaptation of the mythology of Egypt, particularily the Osiris myth - which focuses on the concepts of kingship and the order of succession, conflict between order and disorder, sexuality and rebirth, and especially death and rebirth. Set is the central character of the webtoon, which examines his role in the decay of Egypt and the penance he now pays to the land and its people for his evil deeds. He's a really complex character with a lot of psychological layers, a mentality that is more orange-blue than black-and-white, and both a villain and a victim with unresolved issues! Soulmate(s): As of his introduction to the game, he's really not going to be seeking any level of intimacy with others, though I love slowburn CR and crosscanon parallels above all else. I'd love to (eventually) get him a government-assigned soulmate (or two, or three), though I'm looking for some good angst, wholehearted trust-building and abiding friendships beforehand. He hasn't even visited his room in the Shadowlands, yet!!
Shadow: Set has a larger-than-life attitude and an extremely fragile heart. His sense of self, and his perception of his value was utterly destroyed by someone he deeply trusted, and while I'm not fully certain how his shadow will manifest, it's going to be a reflection of his internal struggles with trust, acknowledgement and trauma. Likely, his Shadow will be a silent onlooker, with a judgemental vibe -- Set's his own worst enemy already, after all. He just needs a push, and he'll collapse like a deck of cards. :C
Plotting: I'm a fan of all CR, positive and negative!! I'm definitely into the idea of him accepting confidantes (hard mode), followers/adherants and rivals to push him to think differently, face his past and move forward with grace. I'm also honestly down to Make Him Worse, I don't mind which direction he goes as long as it's organic and influenced by his actions and CR.
In terms of strengths, he brings to the Restless's collective thousands of years of combat experience. As a war god, he's well-versed in offense and defense, and would be an asset in any area where the Restless would like to set up strategy, tactics, defenses, hunting parties or training efforts for themselves and those around them. He's also a parent (in fact, one of his only desires ever was to be a father ;;), so characters who need a paternal/maternal figure -- because what is gender to a god -- might find a sense of it in him.
In terms of weaknesses, he's a known hedonist given to weak-heartedness, who'd rather turn to drink, drugs and sex than wholly reflect on his actions. He does try, but there's a lot of unprocessed pain that he's only recently begun to unpack. He's not comfortable with making intimate connections with others, so he'd likely be a bad diplomat or political force.

He's not sure what he is a god of, and even less so if he's a god at all. He's been very sheltered and limited in his upbringing, with his life only revolving around the chthonic entities in the House of Hades and the tales they and the Shades have woven. He misses his dog Cerberus already. Despite his lineage and his upbringing, he's a very steadfast and stubborn lad that wishes to know more about the world, himself, and the people around him.
Soulmate(s): Not actively yet — he's not really the type of person who'd like to burden others (aside from not picking up his messes, I suppose), but once he realizes the implications of it he'll definitely volunteer to be a soulmate to someone in need.
Shadow: It will prey on his guilt, and will very much so sound like his Father… yikes. His shadow will also pick up on his own restlessness, and how his impulsiveness and bull-headedness makes him get tunnel-vision. Probably a feral, guilt-ridden and very angry thing. May or not play around with how he felt when he took a Boon too much of a particular Olympian.
Plotting: I'll repeat what's going to be said here a lot: I want everything, from good CR to negative (I love a good negative CR, or complex CR in which they don't know what to do with each other, just eugh). Info: there will be more information here later on, but a quick overview: Take the most socially awkward engineer, wrap him up in righteousness, throw in some self-sacrificing tendencies, add in way too much repression, and you have Chu Wanning. He believes in righteousness, justice, and helping people, and cares deeply but has no concept of how to show he cares or communicate his feelings. He's old (at 27) and grumpy and would like to be left alone to tinker with his projects and work on cultivating, but he also can't stand it when people are taken advantage of, and he doesn't trust most people to help. He's someone affection starved and most people in his canon are intimidated by his looks (he thinks he's ugly and no one bothers him because of that) and his aptitude (27 and one of the prominent cultivators in his world) and intellect, so he's always been painfully alone.
Soulmate(s): Absolutely not, the idea of letting anyone into his mind is horrifying to him (no one wants to be in there, in his mind). But he's secretly desperate for affection, so finding a soulmate is part of the plan.
Shadow: I have no solid arc in mind for his shadow, but it will take advantage of his insecurities (of which he has many) and the deep trauma that he's gone through already and manifest in him struggling with helping people/being useful/useless.
Plotting: He's a teacher/mentor in his home (well, was-- he's currently dead) and enjoyed it, and although he's never really had more than one friend, he needs them. Considering how alone he's been for so long, making friends or anything more will take time, but I absolutely want him to have that. He'll make himself useful in a variety of ways and help wherever he can. If he gets injured, he'll need people to bandage him up-- he's incompetent at that. I have no definite arcs for him yet, but that'll change as I get settled.
Visuals: Have a visual on how he sleeps (yes, with things on his bed; he'll curl up around them). And see him attempt to clean and bandage a wound. This grown-ass man is helpless. (Though to be fair, the scratches are on his shoulder, in an awkward place.) He is, however, very pretty and talented with a whip (among other things).

Info: 5'1" weirdo golden retriever girl who will do absolutely anything and everything for her people. Bubbly and charismatic, Hibiki has a habit of attaching herself to interesting people or those she feels would benefit from a bit of light in their lives. Her own life however... is a mess. She has no right to be as optimistic and bright as she is given her own history, but there's a desperate need for her to just grin and bear it--something she does exceptionally well. That being said, she is awful when it comes to dealing with her own emotions, and she would much rather drive them into the ground instead of dealing with them, because what are healthy coping mechanisms, she doesn't know.
Coming from a world where any number of mythological beings exist, Hibiki has teeeechnically been aware of the supernatural for her whole life, but has been thrust into that life more recently. A talented magic user despite no formal training, she has also been practicing martial arts (aikido specifically) for her entire life, so she can hold her own for the most part. She's also a musician and songwriter, which is the thing that really makes her heart sing.
In addition to all of this, Hibiki is a host of a dark Entity of pure entropic energy that is wrapped around and has claimed her soul. For the most part, they are chilling at this point, however the addition of new powers and the like with mean that they will want to come out and play.
Soulmate(s): Hibiki will be pairing up with another character, so she won't be looking for anyone
Shadow: Hibiki lives and breathes for her friends, doing absolutely anything for them--and her shadow is going to capitalize on that, weaponizing those connections and tearing them apart. Other than that I'm going to be winging it at the moment, but that's the first thing that comes to mind.
Plotting: This will largely depend on the opening log, but I would love for her to get a tight-knit group of friendsthat can be used against her. Give me that found family CR! People who are able to fight would be great, since this girl will be looking for any and all reasons to hone her skills and make sure she is strong enough physically to take on anything. Other music friends are good. Other than that, big shrugs? She's easy to toss at anyone really, so give me that positive and negative CR.
