Info: Hey everyone! I’m Ash (she/her). In terms of interests outside of RP, I’m into Final Fantasy (including XIV, which I just recently started playing); Dragon Age; Mass Effect; Genshin Impact; Naruto; Teen Wolf; Arcane; and horror games! With regard to that last item on the list, I’m super excited right now since it’s officially October! TIME TO CELEBRATE. I’m also a D&D lover…who has never actually played D&D. I live vicariously through D&D shows or games like Baldur’s Gate and Divinity. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to find a group to join… 🤔

Canon: Naruto

Info: Many of you probably have at least some periphery knowledge about Naruto, but for those who aren’t canon familiar—Naruto is your typical shōnen protagonist! So, expect someone who is extroverted, loud, obnoxious, unfalteringly loyal, deeply empathic, exceptionally stubborn, embarrassingly dense, and stupidly overpowered. Basic starting synopsis: As a baby, a powerful monster was sealed away inside him. Because of this, he was ostracized by his village growing up (without ever knowing why). Naruto initially resorts to bad behavior in order to force people to give him attention. Eventually however, he starts to forge friendships with others…including his castmates Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, and Nara Shikamaru! Given his background of isolation, bonds are everything to Naruto.
Soulmate(s): Never say never! Naruto has some issues about being emotionally vulnerable with other people (blame the toxic warrior culture he comes from), but if the CR is organic and makes sense for it, he might be coaxed into it!
Shadow: His Shadow is going to reopen old wounds that Naruto canonically addressed before—wounds concerning the awful abuse and neglect he suffered as a child, for starters. It’ll stoke the fires of rage and resentment in him; make him doubt the sincerity of his bonds; and seek to undermine the self-confidence Naruto has built up over the years. Because Naruto is, at his current canon point, very settled in his personal development, I’m really looking to lean heavily on his Shadow to shake things up.
Plotting: Right now, Naruto is unfortunately accustomed to everything going his way magically because he’s shōnen Jesus. Bad guys tend to convert to his religion after a good slap down and Naruto seems to always win the day. BOO, BORING. I’d love excuses to teach Naruto things won’t be so easy or straightforward in Nightfell. This boy needs to learn how to fail (which might take MANY lessons, given how outrageously stubborn he can be). I’d love negative CR—whether it’s just harmless head butting and competitive rivalry, or a matter of opposite philosophies clashing. (I’ve found that the most interesting and complex CR usually starts out negative, so I’m a huge fan of it.) That aside, Naruto can always use friends! But seriously, I’m good for any kind of CR. Just hit me up.
