As of the current point...She's ran off and is free. But she's slightly less feral and talks instead of just animal noises. She's also a sulky bully.

Sounds like an interesting story. It's good she talks too. I imagine it would be hard to play a character who only used animal noises to communicate.
Do you think she's the type Kainé would adopt? Or more of a rival?

It really is a miracle she can talk so well. I'm thinking it'll snark buddies/rivals but we'll see. She does an easier time attaching to ladies because mom issues. Like when they ran into succubus it gave up on trying to seduce her and tried turning into a middle-aged lady to mom her instead...

Kainé mainly things he sdoesn't belong because she's afraid she'll hurt someone with her being Shade possessed in addition to what she's been told her entire life (That she's a freak)
Sure we could have them meet up and maybe explore a bit? Once Kainé finds a more safe location (if she needs to stay near the city) she'll probably make a camp outside. He's welcome to come bother her there lol

I'm still getting to know all the worldbuilding and the other players, so I don't have any super concrete plans for Kaito yet. That means I can be flexible and throw him at Kainé whenever she digs her heels in and makes camp.

Ofc it would def require feeling out to see how the characters interact. I'm just like, how is Kainé gonna realize someone wants to be her soulmate? Lol trying to figure out a reason for her to post on the Tinder thing.

Kainé is weak to people being nice to her, so if Rachel does that she'll encounter Kainé's soft, socially awkward side lol.
