Okay, but otherwise, I am a 30 something lady from Australia who is a massive history nerd, I work with dogs, and a lot of my chatter is about animals in my life or random historical information, art I make, and the constant litany of swearing at all times.

Info: Gilia is an exhausted Queen, Mother, Sister and Sea Monster. She's from 900s pseudo-Slavic, Baltic & Norse-inspired culture except that Spirits fill the world and are incredibly normal and they also collect people like pokemon. Gilia's family belongs to one of the most powerful. She was never supposed to be queen, but her shitty elder brother betrayed everyone and so she got stuck ruling. She sucks at it because she's an incredibly passive person who wishes she could just be left alone, and got sucked into the first world war in the series of island nations. But it's winding down now that she killed an entire armada oops. She personally is an incredibly restrained, thoughtful, hard-working woman who spends every single second consumed by her duty (and subsequent failings ) and what she must always be doing to help others. It just comes with an incredibly destructive temper when she gets pushed too far.

Oh and she turns into a 7ft tall tentacle monster ocean monster that. She doesn't consider it scary though, its naturalised in her world as something beautiful.
Soulmate(s): Gilia isn't against it, she just thinks no one would ever, because it's a mess inside her, and she assumes that anyone that did get close and actually saw what was inside here? Would rightly leave. Also, it comes with potentially sharing a connection with her Spirit. Which is something she takes very seriously, and will be drilling any potential interested parties about what their Intentions Are.
Shadow: Her shadow is her every selfish desire and whim she has ever put aside, it's dismissive, blunt, prone to breaking things that cross her and demands to be worshipped and praised. It wants you on your knees because you never should have dared approach it with anything less than reverence. Love her and want her, plzthanks. But do not ever make demands of her back, the utter insolence.
Plotting: Obviously I am keen for her to have things that bring out her good side and bad side. But I'd also like some general things because she's quite introverted and prefers to self-eradicate her desires, she's never had honest friends in her life.
