Oh no, he'll never expect that and probably fumble a bit, he's not used to getting gifts except when he's in the middle of a run or something, and he really needs it for the road. Zag definitely does not know how to cook, so please teach him, Kaito. He's a sheltered prince, his house has a chef, he doesn't even know how to hold a knife unless it's to stab a shade or his dad.

Combat threads are my favorite to write, it's embarrassing, and I get too tl;dr easily so beware, but I'm totally down for that if you are.

But yes Kaito is good malewife material, very domestic, much housekeeper, will absoLUTELY call Zag out if his home is messy—and then teach him how to do the domestics as well and then they can eat their own food and maybe get food poisoning if it didn't go well

Standard disclaimer goes that I'm super rusty at creative writing in general but hey if their male biological clock is ticking (aka they need to go into war and soon) who are we to stop them, right?

Oh no, Kaito will be so frustrated, Zag barely picks up after himself (it bleeds onto other aspects of his life, sort of) and the cooking should be terrible at least at first because. Food? He sort of ate to win some health back but he picks up gyros off the floor, anyway. Please.

I was born with rust in my fingies so don't you worry about that LOL, let The Boys™ make the content for us and we can sit back and pretend to take credit for it.

Kaito is so ready to taste test and then immediately die (again (again)). He is not ready for a messy room, though. Here comes Hurricane Clean Freak—

So Kaito's got a funny relationship with death and particularly with Izanami (he inadvertently managed to cheat her out of a deal to trade his souls for the lives of his family) and now he's just on Hell's Shitlist, so I think it'd be hilarious if there was a water cooler moment like "Oh yeah wait your name's kinda familiar I heard the Japanese pantheon's underworlders hate your ass"

...Not to preplan too much, but it was an idea that came to mind 😅

HMM something can be arranged! Zag is kind of sheltered and only got in touch with his own country's gods recently, so he probably only heard in passing, but he may hear from his friend Thanatos about how Death in another place sort of got in trouble for letting a mortal make a deal with them.

ye! It's not something that needs to be pushed anytime soon, I just want to see these dudes bump into each other and then maybe the battle music kicks in and it's time to FIGHT (after all all this exploring through the various regions is bound to trigger an encounter or twenty-five)
