Info: Hello hello, I'm in CST and tend to tag most during evenings and over weekends. When I'm not doing tags, there's a high chance that I'm playing any number of base-building computer games because I'm obsessed with those right now. Well, those or FFXIV.

BRUNO MADRIGAL

Canon: Encanto
Age: 50

Info: Bruno is a very sad man who seriously does not deserve to be as sad as he is and yet here we are. He's been a prophet with the gift to see the future for most of his life and that's the cause for most of his woe. He's been left very anxious and highly superstitious by it all, on top of being shunned by his own community and family for having overwhelmingly "bad" visions. He "died" for the purpose of this game mid-movie, so none of that has really been resolved yet. :')
Soulmate(s): Bruno 100% needs a soulmate eventually since his Shadow is going to have the easiest time bullying the poor guy but he won't be actively looking. He figures he doesn't deserve one and he'd only be a huge pain to share that kind of bond with.
Shadow: It's going to be reminding him of how useless and problem-causing he is on primetime, baby. He fears being seen as useless, as trouble, and being abandoned, but also already feels like he deserves all of that, which will let the Shadow capitalize on it and try to push him even further away from having any kind of connection with other people, that it would just be better to let the Shadow take over and replace what a pointless individual that Bruno is. To that point, he'll assume friendly people are just doing it out of pity and don't actually want him around, that he shouldn't bother and should always assume the worse...
Plotting:
- People who also want to fix up somewhere out in the Barrens to live; living in the actual city proper is an intimidating concept so he'd rather go back to his shabby hole-in-the-wall ways.
- People willing to put up with his constant self-putdowns and seemingly endless nervousness.
- Friends? Friends...? Maybe? He'll doubt it but he needs them.
- People who are bullies instead of friends, he's very easy to bully.
- Younger people who want to adopt and/or be adopted by a weird uncle who'll mom at you and worry a lot.
- A... job? If anyone plans on starting a business that needs carpentry or fixing-up or get-into-weird-places-and-recover-stuff skills.
- Future sight stuff. It'll be less solid than usual due to /waves at powers shorting out down here, but I'm always happy for a vision to happen to give other characters plot hooks for non-mod stuff.

Nope, he's not allowed to talk crap about people around Hibiki, even if he's talking crap about himself. But maybe these two can be unfortunate pre-cog pals? She was still coming into her power before she died, but it's something I would like to explore a bit more with you, if you're interested!

Also this girl is sunlight incarnate so I hope he's got some sunglasses.

Because his initial advice will be to do whatever she can to lose that power, it only brings heartbreak in the end. Of course, he's also had a terrible time with his, so, very biased on that. He would want to help her regardless, though.

And honestly, he'd appreciate some sunlight incarnate. He's so gloomy sometimes, it'd be a nice break from that.

Oh, she knows what heartbreak that causes. Her mother was a clairvoyant, and younger Hibiki definitely got to watch her lose herself during the last few months that she was alive. But she's very much a "I have this power, I need to figure out how to control it" type of person.

Usually her precognition kicks in whenever she's in danger, and at her current canon point that means her body will move and react according to that information. But she has started to have prophetic dreams, so that will be a fun thing for her to be asking about.

But yes allow her to just attach herself to this poor man. She will think that he deserves the world and will make sure that he knows it too.

Hello! Yes, I would love to have Izutsumi bully poor Bruno. He'll still try to be nice to her because she's just a kid but it will be endlessly funny to scare him regularly since he will always jump. :')

I think it's getting close to the end now! And there's an anime coming up somewhen which I'm hype for... But no dates yet.

Thanks Bruno, it might make her soften up a bit. Maybe. Inutade tried that and Izutsumi sorta likes her the most out of the ninja group?

Zack's planning on making himself a home out in the Barrens as well if Bruno could use the help. /o/ He is not the best carpenter, but he is Trying. ~~Also, Zack is super ultra friendly and might be a good foil to Bruno's more anxious personality.~~

Oh, nice! A good way to segue into them meeting, too! Since Zack was checking out the notice board. Maybe they didn't take the notice down and he ~~walks in late with Starbucks~~ finds the things already taken care of but Bruno is trying to work on the chapel. /o/

Fukawa may be a shitty teenager but she's a) an effective bully b) but also strangely motivating? She's at a point where she'll call out other people's bullshit on sight with no regards to propriety, so she'd definitely hassle Bruno about growing a damn spine and standing up for himself!!
