oh, he's an original character so there's no canon to really be blind to. and i will, for sure. i'm doing a big re-read first so hopefully it won't be too long to get to nona but i have to admit they sold me on there being very good doggo

Info: Hello, I go by Jill! I play in the good old PST timezone, so I'm generally on later than most! I try to tag once a day, but I do have other commitments, so sometimes I'm a little slower than I'd like! However, I will backdate for a million years if you let me, and I try to keep tags from getting crusty! Other than that, I live with my partner and a stinky old cat, we do a lot of DIY projects around our house, I rock climb for fitness and fun(!) and I cosplay, so if I disappear for long swaths of time, I'm probably working on a costume! Also I (mostly) only play old men who are bastards, I'm sorry in advance.

Info: revolutionary turned crime boss after their whole attempt at independence was slapped down, betrayed by his best friend, Silco is a vile, ill tempered man who shoots up drugs in his eye, is trying to make his city so scary the one in charge of it will give it up, and rolls around like a pig in shit when it comes to crime. Also might have a dad instinct that he will deny to high heaven, but feral gremlins can feel free to apply, but I cannot guarantee it is a good or healthy dad instinct. Also has trust issues a mile wide and that is probably not...going away Silco has a swath of content warnings that I tried to list out as best I could in my permissions post, so let me know if anything isn't really your jam, and I'll restrain from talking about it when we tag!
Soulmate(s): can't be betrayed if you don't let other people in. So no, he won't. He will need one, of course, so he will probably be forced to get one at some point and will need to be bullied into it and forced. He will not be seeking one out, especially if it requires anybody to learn or see anything about him. Silco is uh. He has some coping mechanisms to deal with being betrayed, and they mostly deal with being secretive and mean to other people ngl.
Shadow: So! Silco's already pretty much a slave to most of his worst tendencies. The shadow will need very little help to indulge in those. He's mean, he's catty, he's sarcastic, and just a little bit nasty. However, what Silco epitomizes more than anything is control. He's extremely controlled,unless he loses his temperand so I think the shadow will be more...forthright, less controlled, and really just dig into all of Silco's coping mechanisms. Expect him to share secrets, or say things that he wouldn't necessarily say, be more violent, and less able to control his temper.
Plotting:
Let him make you worse: Silco is a bit of a bad influence. He's cajoling, and somewhat of a silver-spooned type presence. He will probably seek to find those who would be useful forillicit businesslegitimate business and will probably want to convince any with tendencies that he favors to indulge in them more. While he's not...necessarily an outright evil person, Silco is not a good person, and will probably want to find like-minded individuals, or ones he can convince in that direction!
Criminals! Obviously, if your character is some kind of criminal, outlaw, or ne'er do well, Silco will probably want to talk! Let's commit some sort of ilicit activity together!
What I can offer you: A catty, mean crime lord with an unblinking eye. He is intense, horrid, and probably the worst influence you could ask for. He has some redeeming qualities, but they are few and far between, and he's often not the type to admit them, even if he does have them! He doesn't trust anyone, gets involved and in over his head frequently, and more often than not will probably scamper away if it looks like he's about to die. Then again, unless he can stab it, he's probably not going to be able to do much in physical combat. He will likely be trying to angle into some business or trade in Mirth, and has a background in smuggling, drug production and trade, and technically running a bar, but he did steal that from his ex best friend after he killed him. So. You know. He'll probably be getting his nose in all kinds of trouble, and I'm excited to tag y'all and see what comes of it!
