lumine watches from her spot as the little creatures chase after childe like ducklings to their mother. and it would've been amusing to watch if the reality of possibly being burned is low. as it stands, the heat of their rage is more than enough for her to hold an arm up, wiping the sheen of sweat from her forehead. but still, she presses on, stealing into the crater and finding the star fragment.
there's one little seelie left inside and it points a spear at her, the star's last protector. she holds up her hands in the air as if in surrender, offering the tiny thing a gentle smile and crouching on the ground close to it. ]
You know, you look just like a knight in one of the books I've read. [ she doesn't flinch when she feels the sear and burn of its weapon against her skin, steel pressing against her knee. ] I can tell you more about it if you'd let me take a small piece of the star.
