His head shifts as he feels the rush of such delicious rage. He can't quite pinpoint where it is, but it is enough that he can only hope that a life was taken in order to sate it.
But more curious, he has not yet received a response from his kin.
His fingers lightly tap against the device; he wonders if there is a limited amount of times that they can respond to one another before it goes quiet. He supposes that makes as much sense as anything else.
However, just when he is about the call their communication ended, he receives a reply.
What a curious response.
It certainly isn't one that he had thought of, himself.
War frowns as he thinks on those questions. Family is always a complicated issue; he certainly loves the idea of bloodshed and mayhem, but reserves it for mortal lives than that of his own family. It is why he tolerates Athena even as she has worn away whatever goodwill that he could feel toward his sister.
The idea that they would conspire against him is not an unreasonable one. He did, after all, once stood against a majority of them during a certain war. But he considered that water under the bridge given all that was lost to everyone's side.
In the end, he did not win but no one else could say they won, either. Won in any way that they could truly lift their heads up high and say that they were proud of the carnage that they wrought. They got to see what it is like to be War and found themselves displeased with the results.
And that is fair, because he was made for it while they were not.
Again, his fingers tap on the device. ]
The thought had not occurred to me, but it may be one I muse on now.
