[Augustine cannot help but notice that the constant wailing doesn't seem to effect his newest acquaintance. It's says a lot, actually. Even a creature of the night such as himself cannot help but show pity towards those unfortunate souls. However, his pity doesn't go too far. He drowns out the screaming in favor of focusing on the task at hand.
Entering the Hinterlands is always easy enough considering the lack of guards here. Much of the Hinterlands reminds him of the Oakwoods but darker and wilder. There's a thick gray mist that lingers here, one that befuddles the senses. It's a little difficult to find a beaten path here but not impossible since there's more than enough Restless who call this wild forest home.]
